"Immigrants earned $1.3 trillion and contributed $105 billion in state and local taxes and nearly $224 billion in federal taxes in 2014, according to the Partnership for a New American Economy, based on an analysis of the U.S. Census Bureau's latest American Community Survey. The partnership is a group of 500 Republican, Democratic and independent mayors and business leaders who support immigration reforms that create jobs for Americans, according to its site.

In 2014 immigrants had almost $927 billion in consumer spending power, an analysis of the survey showed."

 Can we afford to lose our immigrant workers, the answer is simple: HELL NO!

Effects of New ICE Removal Scheme

The categories of individuals that will be targeted by the new enforcement scheme are (1) national security threats and felons; (2) serious misdemeanants and those who have entered or re-entered unlawfully after January 1, 2014; and (3) those with removal orders issued after January 1, 2014. High time for driver licenses for NE Dreamers!

The Dreamers have legal presence, work permits and social security numbers and jobs, it is high time for a driver licenses for each and everyone of them. Unless you are a Native American, you, too, came from immigrants, who were not invited to America....just ask a Native American!
